UPDATE: Kremlin confirms Lukashenko’s visit to Russia on Sep 14

MOSCOW, Sep 11 (PRIME) -- Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko will visit Russia on September 14 and meet with President Vladimir Putin, but no documents are expected to be signed after the meeting, Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday.
“Yes, Lukashenko’s visit will really be held on Monday, September 14. This will be a working visit, he will communicate with President Putin,” Peskov said.
Putin and Lukashenko will discuss prospects for promoting integration processes within the Union State during the meeting in Sochi, the Kremlin said in a statement.
“Special attention will be paid to implementation of large joint projects in the trade, economic, energy, cultural and humanitarian fields, as well as to prospects for promoting integration processes within the Union State,” the statement said.
